In an Oct. 12 press release, Baltimore-based Syntec Corp. announced its introduction of a new line of integrally formed biaxial and uniaxial geogrids:
- Syntec SBX biaxial geogrids—polypropylene (PP) using punched and drawn technology.
- Syntec UX-S and UX-W uniaxial geogrids—high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
The news release from Syntec president Giovanni Capra said the company has secured exclusive production capacity for a full line of single-layer PP biaxial and HDPE uniaxial geogrids manufactured using punched and drawn technology, without infringement of any patents.
The release noted that Syntec now offers distributors a full line of SBX biaxial, and UX-S and UX-W series uniaxial geogrids with the same combination of technology, materials, and manufacturing processes that have demonstrated decades of proven success in the U.S. and worldwide.
