This one has been a favorite of mine for some time.

We were asked to complete a leak-location survey to identify the source(s) of a leak in a PVC liner for a decorative pond. The general contractor was responsible for exposing the liner around the perimeter. About five minutes into the job, our technician informed the workers that they could put everything away and said he would finish without using the surveying equipment.

Of course, there was the PVC liner with riprap on top but the nonwoven protection geotextile was never used on the side slopes, only on the bottom of the pond!

This photo, in particular, was the one I found amusing.

The job was completed about six years ago in Pennsylvania.
