Thrace-LINQ, a 100% subsidiary of The Thrace Group, has announced the investment of $20 million in new equipment at its Summerville, S.C. facility.

Included in the purchase will be the installation of a new needling line, supplied by NSC nonwoven (Asselin-Thibeau), to increase production capacity and help further expand the company’s U.S. market. The new line will have a capacity in excess of 7,000 tons/year.

The expansion will add 15 new jobs at the plant, raising its current employment level to 67 employees, the company said.
