Dow acquires Stevens

Dow Building Solutions (DBS), a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW), has acquired Stevens Roofing and Geomembrane Systems, a business of JPS Industries Inc.
Based in Holyoke, Mass., Stevens manufactures reinforced thermoplastic commercial roofing systems as well as polypropylene and polyethylene geomembranes. Dow plans to operate the acquired business as Dow Roofing Systems LLC.
