New turf reinforcement from East Coast

East Coast Erosion Control introduced its newest product offering this week at the EC’11 event in Orlando: the T-RECS (Turf Reinforcement Erosion Control Solution).

ECEC, a supplier of rolled erosion control products, hydromulches, and turf reinforcement mats (TRMs), said in its press release that T-RECS is designed to provide durable erosion control quickly and affordably. The release described the new product as a “system [that] utilizes a revolutionary, three-dimensional, woven polypropylene, geotextile TRM structure that enables the user significant flexibility in installation without sacrificing performance.”

“The unique structure of the T-RECS product allows it to be surface-applied or soil-filled,” said Diane Hitt, ECEC’s managing director.

The press release stated: “… initial surveys have shown that the T-RECS system costs approximately 33% less than competitive products, and with vegetation growing quickly and lasting, the product protects both sites and budgets.”
