TRB offers webinar on geofoam applications for slope stability

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) will conduct a webinar on July 27, 2017, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. EDT, that discusses ways to use geofoam to address slope-stability problems.

Moderated by Mohammed Mulla of the North Carolina Department of Transportation, the webinar panel includes David Arellano of the University of Memphis, Steven Bartlett of the University of Utah, and Ben Arndt of Yeh and Associates.

Presenters will provide information about the design methodology of geofoam and an overview of construction practices. Presenters will also review the standards for the use of geofoam in slope-stability applications.
