The American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) announced workers employed by highway, street and bridge contractors grew 8.2 percent in February compared to the same month in 2016, representing a net increase of roughly 20,300 workers.
Total workers employed reached 267,400, the highest mark for February since 2008.
