GSE launches RoaDrain
Houston-based GSE Environmental announced Jan. 30 the launch of RoaDrain, a new synthetic drainage product that offers an alternative to traditional drainage materials. GSE RoaDrain is described as a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) composite, with a triplanar geonet core and heat-bonded on both sides with geotextile filters.
The Jan. 30 GSE press release further described the RoaDrain product line that consists of three variations:
- RoaDrain MD, with flow channels that run parallel to the length of the roll.
- RoaDrain RD, with flow channels that run across the width of the roll.
- RoaDrain JD, with a strip placed only at expansion joint locations.

TenCate introduces capping products
Pendergrass, Ga.-based TenCate said it has recognized a specific need to access soft, saturated ponds to begin closure with a compacted clay layer or geomembrane. It has launched the Mirafi CR-Series featuring high-strength woven geotextile panels with engineered seams that provide a stable construction platform to enable the effective closure of ponds.
