GeoAfrica 2017 is scheduled for October 8–11, 2017, in Marrakech, Morocco. This event is organized by the IGS Moroccan Chapter and held under the auspices of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS).
Papers and presentations should focus on the conference theme: “Geosynthetics and Sustainable Development in Africa.” Abstracts are due by Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017.
This event is billed as an opportunity for geosynthetics-related engineering and construction professionals to interact with the African continent’s growing infrastructure.
Authors are invited to submit technical work and case studies related to all geosynthetic products, addressing the development of standards, specifications, and applications.
