Wiefferink, IEC expand geomembrane networks with partnership

In a press release issued last week, Wiefferink B.V. (Oldenzaal, Netherlands) and Industrial & Environmental Concepts Inc. (Lakeville, Minn., USA) have expanded their geomembrane networks via a new partnership. “The unprecedented growth and expansion of both companies led to this collaboration and agreement,” according to the release.

In terms of products and services, both companies agreed that they complement each other well. The press release noted that both companies stated: “The diversity of our expertise and designs, coupled with our after-the-sale service, has placed us in the leading position we are in today. We can upgrade any tank or pond with our covers.”

The release said that the first joint project is already in progress in Canada.

Netherlands-based Wiefferink is a supplier of membrane covers throughout Europe. The company was founded in 1956 and has more than 60 years of experience in innovative geomembrane applications.

USA-based IEC is a supplier of membrane covers in North America. Founded in 1990, IEC covers have been extensively used in the municipal, industrial, petro-chemical, manufacturing, and agricultural markets.
