Two new sales managers and a promotion at GSE

Steve Eckhart, GSE’s vice president for Americas sales and global marketing, announced in a March 23 press release two new hires and a promotion.

The release said that Todd Sturtz, P.E., will fill the open position of regional sales manager for western U.S. states. Sturtz is a professional engineer and has previous industry sales experience. He will work with Adam Maskal and Mary Cruthirds to serve customers in GSE’s Western U.S. Region.

Rod Kirch has been named sales manager for the Mountain West Region. In addition, he will continue in his current position as sales manager for upstream oil and gas, according to the release. Kirch joined GSE seven years ago to help grow the company’s GCL business and later took on the same task in the upstream oil and gas market.

The press release also noted a promotion for Steve Mayes, P.E., to technical director for the Americas Region. He was previously GSE’s senior technical manager in the Northeast U.S. Region. In this new role, all company technical managers and contract reviewers will report to Mayes.
