Propex introduces new sales structure

News | January 19, 2016 | By:

As originally announced in October, Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Propex GeoSolutions has now launched its new dual-function sales structure that will aim to “significantly benefit its customer base and make buying products easier than ever before,” according to a Jan. 18 press release.

The release noted that the company “has listened carefully to customers and the marketplace to generate a stronger and more efficient sales approach.”

The new market approach will include two teams. New Propex national sales leader, Ray Bruno, will lead the geotextile sales group. Todd Gerrez will head the erosion control and specialty solutions sales team.

The press release said that the geotextiles group will include Propex’s full line of woven, civil nonwoven, and paving geotextiles; while the erosion control and specialties team will focus on project sales of Armormax, Pyramat, and other Propex erosion control products.

“I am very excited about this new structure and believe that it will generate successful and sustainable growth,” said Propex CEO Mike Gorey. “We feel that this is a relevant approach at the right time, and demonstrates our commitment to our customers and the Propex brand.”

The press release also noted that, in conjunction with the new sales structure, Propex is launching its new Propexglobal.com website with redesigned emphasis on markets served, and updated technical data and content.
