This call for abstracts is issued to create a comprehensive, diverse, and exciting technical paper program at the Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 conference and trade show March 12–15, 2017, in Orlando.

The deadline for submitting 200- to 300-word abstracts is March 8, 2016. Please examine the current list of proposed sessions and general topics.

All submissions will be peer reviewed at each step, including the abstract, first draft, and final paper submissions. At least one author from each accepted final paper must register and present the paper during the conference.

Abstracts can be submitted online.

Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 is a conference and trade show for the geotechnical, civil, and geo-professional communities. This specialty conference held every six years (GeoFrontiers 2005 in Austin, Texas and 2011 in Dallas) is a partnership with IFAI’s biennial Geosynthetics conference and the annual GeoCongress of ASCE’s Geo-Institute.

This event is where the industry unites to share developments in geotechnical engineering and technologies. The four-day event is organized by the Industrial Fabrics Association International’s Geosynthetic Materials Association and the American Society of Civil Engineer’s Geo-Institute. It is supported by the North American Geosynthetics Society under the auspices of the International Geosynthetics Society.
