High-performance fabric manufacturer Seaman Corp., Wooster, Ohio, has expanded its line of XR-5® grade geomembranes with the XR-5PW.

Specifically engineered for potable water floating covers, 45-mil XR-5PW offers high strength, UV protection and resistance to punctures and tears. It is the only coated fabric with NSF-61 approval for potable water contact.

Featuring Seaman’s proprietary knit design of polyester fibers to provide maximum strength to weight ratios, and flexibility for ease of handling, XR-5 was developed to contain and protect against acids, oils, methane and alkalis. It is used worldwide for pond liners, secondary containment, floating covers and wastewater baffles.
