Tensar announces regional partnership with G&O

To increase geogrid availability and service in Mississippi

In a Nov. 18 press release, Atlanta-based Tensar International announced an expanded partnership with G & O Supply Co. Inc. that will increase Tensar’s product accessibility and support service in Mississippi. The new partnership will allow for increased TriAx geogrid availability to local customers, especially along the Gulf Coast and in northern Mississippi, according to the release.

G & O Supply is a distributor of construction drainage products for the site development marketplace. The locally owned Mississippi corporation, based in Tupelo, Miss., has been in the business for more than 50 years and currently has four distribution locations. As a result of the new partnership, Tensar’s geogrids are now available at each of the four stockyards, the press release said.

“We are excited to have G & O Supply Co. Inc. as a key part of our distribution network in the mid-South region,” said Scott Phillips, P.E., Tensar regional manager. “They bring significant value to us in the form of a solid contractor base and their commitment to maintaining inventory levels to effectively service their customers.”

The release noted that G & O Supply is currently stocking and selling TriAx geogrids to customers. The partnership provides Mississippi engineers and contractors with engineering, environmental, and construction material products and support.
