Soil Nail Launcher Inc., Landslide Solutions Inc., and GeoStabilization Inc. are merging into a single entity, GeoStabilization International, according to a Feb. 18 press release.

The release stated: “GeoStabilization International (GSI) has now combined the most experienced and responsive geohazard mitigation professionals in North America under a single banner. Clients of Soil Nail Launcher, Landslide Solutions, and GeoStabilization will continue to see the high levels of service they experienced before the merger.”

GSI will have increased capabilities in design/build/warranty landslide repair, rockfall mitigation, excavation shoring, and geosynthetic-reinforced soil/integrated bridge system (GRS-IBS) abutment construction, the press release noted, citing more than “750 completed geohazard repairs in the last 10 years.”

GSI also announced that it is expanding throughout the United States and Canada, with branch offices in Arizona, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ontario, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, and Virginia.

In the same announcement, the new company said Daniel Journeaux has joined its design/construction/warranty team to head the rockfall mitigation services department.

The release said that the three-company consolidation will be completed by the end of March.
