From 16–19 September, 2012, Valencia, Spain, is the host of EuroGeo5, the 5th European Geosynthetics Congress organized by the Spanish Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) and with the collaboration of other institutions, both public and private.
Due to the success of previous EuroGeo congresses, this 5th congress seeks to become an international benchmark forum on recent developments in the field of geosynthetics. Opportunities for hands-on participation along with the preliminary short courses, and educational sessions and keynote lectures, will facilitate an exchange of knowledge regarding the latest developments in the field.
This congress is at the Convention and Exhibition Centre (Centro de Eventos) in Valencia. An attractive social program is planned as well as an “accompanying persons” program.
EuroGeo5 officially starts on Sunday, Sept. 16 with a series of short courses. Monday through Wednesday, Sept. 17–19, are filled with keynotes, education and technical sessions, and time to visit with geosynthetics industry experts and suppliers in the exhibit areas.
