Ron Belanger of Precision Labs

Friends in the geosynthetics community received the following letter August 2:

Friends,

It is with our deepest regrets to inform you of the death of Ronald (Ron) Belanger, president of Precision Geosynthetic Laboratories International (PGLI) on July 3, 2011. We join Ron Belanger’s family in this great loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Gisela (Gigi); daughter, Michelle; and granddaughter, Sydney. We will surely miss him.

Ron had been the sole owner of PGLI for over 25 years. Many of our customers and business associates considered Ron a partner and a friend.

PGLI is continuing business, serving and assisting you as usual. We believe that the greatest tribute to Ron Belanger is continuing to carry out and maintaining the high professional standards he represented during his tenure in the office. Ron’s legacy is imprinted in PGLI’s Quality Policy and will remain enforced as part of our ongoing commitment to find better ways to serve you. PGLI will sustain all previous and current relationships as well as continue to develop new business relationships. Our company will preserve and persist in delivering the personalized level of service which you have all been accustomed to through the years.

To this, Carmelo Zantua and I will remain responsible for the operational and technical functions of PGLI together with the valuable support of all PGLI personnel.
