Axter establishes Montreal office

Axter, a subsidiary of France-based Colas Group and a manufacturer of the bituminous geomembrane Coletanche for 35 years, has not renewed its contract with Quebec-based Soprema for distribution of the bituminous liner in Canada.

Axter has established its own North American office in Montreal. Bertrand Breul, a civil engineer formerly with Soprema, is currently the acting director at Axter’s new Montreal office.
